I've always wanted to draw some HA! fanart based on an actual episode and I decided to draw this. This was very good episode and I think this was the reason why I love Helga and this show so much. I really cried while watching this.
It makes me sad that there are some people who still bashes Helga and her relationship with Arnold. Now, I know that people have different opinions and it's completely natural, but when I watched this episode on Youtube, the comment section had many people calling her "bitch" even though it's fully explained in the episode why she is so mean. It's like they don't even want to understand her. I also found a comment on Internet saying: "I think Arnold and Lila should be together. I know that many fans hate this idea, but sometimes I think it could work out. Helga needs to grow up and find a ´healthy´ romance with someone else, she really has to stay away from Arnold".
OK, there is not anything wrong about liking different parings because it's an opinion and I can't argue with that. However, I feel that the argument about Helga is invalid because Dr. Bliss said that Helga is not sick, her feelings are just very strong and she shows her creativity by building statues and writing poems about Arnold. She also said that as long as it's not hurting anybody, it's totally fine. Helga also has some other interests, though maybe she doesn' t love them as passionatelly as Arnold, but I have seen her becoming very happy about them. Also, how on earth could Arnold fall in love with Helga if her feelings were not "healthy"? He couldn't stand Lulu when he was deaming about visiting Arnie, and when Helga confessed her love to him in the movie, she stated out loud about her obsession and Arnold wasn't disgusted at all. In the end, it's Arnold who chooses Helga, not the other way around. (Craig Bartlett himself has stated this)
Please don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to convert anyone. All people have different tastes and if you support Arnold and Helga with other people, I'm completely fine with that. I just want to say that people should think about some things before they post anything, especially since every single complain I've gathered is fully explainable.

EDIT: Now, I came across the argument that Helga's love for Arnold would be caused only by his kindness to her and that couldn't be healthy romance. Well, I'm not that sure. While Helga did fall in love with him at the first sight because Arnold was the first person who ever noticed her and was nice to her, I'd say that it was completely normal since she never was really accepted in her family, she became very lonely and insecure. Without good raising parents, she had to grow up on her own and take care of herself, even though she's still a child and has things to learn. And judging by her monologues, poems and actions, I definitely think that she loves Arnold for many other reasons than just his kindness. Her obsession should never be taken too seriously, it's just a cartoon and it's purely made for a comedy. (I also think that this whole episode was made to prove that Helga is completely sane) When Arnold had a crush on some girl, it was always because of their looks or nice behavior (very easy and shallow reasons), but he never found a true love with them because he has to work out to find it. The episode "Arnold Visits Arnie" proves this. Again, I'm not trying to convert or anything, I'm just listing some points.

Dr. Bliss's first name should be Beatrice(or "Trixie" for short) because Beatrice means "bringer of joy" and Helga was pretty happy after her session with Dr. Bliss.
